How do you convince a young boy in a government secondary school in Nigeria, that he’s a King and not a dog…??
- That his sexual orientation must not be defined by his colleagues or his depraved environment
- That he must not be a slave to pornography, masturbation, and other forms of sexual perversions
- That his testosterone can be channelled into productive things like sports, and other physically engaging activities.
- That the fact that he likes a girl or has an erection when she’s in sight doesn’t mean he must be a slave to his impulses
Now, let’s get specific…. 🤓
😎For Boys:
- Be mindful of your eyes: Avoid looking at things that can trigger lustful thoughts (Matthew 5:27-30).
- Set boundaries: Establish clear boundaries with your friends to avoid situations that can lead to temptation.
- Find healthy outlets: Engage in sports, hobbies, or other activities that help you manage stress and emotions.
💁♀️For Girls:
- Dress modestly: Be mindful of how you dress and present yourself to avoid attracting unwanted attention (1 Timothy 2:9-10).
- Be cautious with emotional intimacy: Avoid getting too emotionally close to someone before you’re ready for a committed relationship.
- Prioritize self-care: Take care of your physical, emotional, and spiritual needs to avoid seeking validation in unhealthy ways.
